Youth Pride Takeover

The kids from our Youth Engagement project will open the day with an hour-long mini-Pride which they have programmed, produced and presented. Expect singers, bands and parades in this celebration of identity and exclusivity.

Rock Choir

The UK’s original, award-winning, local contemporary choir!

Performing at Happy Valley Pride will be Rock Choir members from Halifax Rock Choir (and some members from the rest of our West Yorkshire Rock Choirs) singing a selection of feel-good contemporary Pop and Rock songs from artists and bands such as Queen, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Whitney Houston, Madonna and many more!

Christavie

Hailing from Camden Town in Central London, singer Christavie is Inspired greatly by internationally acclaimed artists like Sade and Stevie Wonder. Christavie’s music journey began at a tender age where he started listening to, and performing covers, in school plays and his latest single “In Your Company” sees the artist take a different turn to a more defined sound showcasing his powerful and unique vocals.

Glitterbomb Dancers

It's Summer Camp with Yorkshire's own Glitterbomb Dancers! High kicks, spandex and pop music videos come to life.  Catch them feeling the fantasy and prancing their way over to set up CAMP in the Happy Valley.

They have previously supported Jinkx Monsoon, The Vivienne, Cheryl Hole and Baga Chipz.  Their full length show 'Cracked Nuts' will be back touring around Yorkshire and the North this Christmas season.

Trans Vegas Takeover!

Our friends at Manchester’s Trans Vegas Festival present a celebration of trans joy and excellence:

The BollyWitch is Manchester's South Asian Trans Drag Monster, blending Bollywood and Witchcraft to create spellbinding art. She is the creator of A-POC-ALYPSE CABARET, Manchester's POC Queer Coven Collective, platforming queer artists of colour and celebrating POC excellence.

Tito Bone is your average blind, non-binary, bisexual drag king who just wants you to smell the world through their nose, ya know? They are a true triple threat: they sing, dad dance, and audio describe, all while wearing large amounts of eco glitter. Tito’s mission is simple: to strive to prove that making accessible art is the epitome of cool.

Kit Knight has been touring the British and Irish traditional folk scene for decades. He sings unaccompanied folk song, turning his voice to haunting ballads, industrial songs and bawdy stories.

Sista Jam

The valley’s very own female mega-band, A group of amazing women featuring Happy Valley Pride favourites Terry Logan and Kirsty Newton, they came together in lock-down to keep their music alive. A big hit last year they’re back and full of heart, sisterly glam and soul musical enchantments.

Ginny Lemon and Sister Sister

Our headliners are the breakout stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2 (and the two most despised queens), Ginny Lemon & Sister Sister are trying to bring you the most disappointing (and hilarious) drag show you’ve ever seen!

They have both performed to sell-out audiences across the UK and made television appearances for BBC, ITV & Channel 4, including shows such as The X Factor, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, The Commonwealth Games & Celebrity Coach Trip.

Rikki Beadle-Blair

We are so excited that Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE will host the day. Rikki is a writer, director, composer, choreographer, designer, producer and performer working in the film, theatre, television and radio.
