Our annual vigil to remember members of the trans community that have been lost over the past year

Our annual vigil will be held on Monday 20th November, 7pm at the wavy steps on Bridge Gate, Hebden Bridge.

Please feel free to bring a candle and anyone who would like to say a few words will have an opportunity to do so.

With thanks to Kim Lana, who first brought this event to us in 2018.

We hope to see you there.

If you need access support or advice during the Vigil, you will find:
- A Mental Health First Aider

Hebden Bridge Town Centre Step-Free Access Map
Hebden Bridge Disability Access Forum (HBDAF) has created a map of accessible routes around Hebden Bridge town centre, showing wheelchair-friendly pavements, accessible toilets, parking spaces and bus stops: https://www.visitcalderdale.com/accessible-calderdale-hebden-bridge-town-centre-step-free-access-map/

Vibe: this will be a quiet, reflective event. It won't feel crowded and you will have as much space as you need.

Toilets: there will not be any toilets provided as this event is taking place in the town centre in the evening after public toilets close. There are plenty of pubs and bars that you can use if you purchase a drink from them.

Parking: Parking is available at St Pols or around the town. As this is a mid-week evening event you should not struggle. However we would encourage you to consider using alternative modes of transport such as busses or trains.
